A dinner with friends or family is a nice occasion to prepare a special meal – for example, one’s favorite meal or even a new recipe – and to serve a fine wine. Here, appealing tableware and decoration are just as important as the food and drinks themselves.

Our drinking vessels can be used for various beverages and replace unsightly labelled bottles. In addition, the modern glasses and carafes made of wood and glass are a healthier and more sustainable alternative to plastic bottles. Besides the reduction in plastic waste and health risks, the carrying of heavy water crates also becomes superfluous.

The function of glasses & carafes

Glasses and carafes can usually be filled with liquids of all kinds. Even in uccellino’s exclusive vessels you can enjoy a variety of drinks: While water, tea, lemonade, and juices are usually served, a drinking glass or carafe can also be used for coffee, milk, oil and vinegar, sauces or alcoholic beverages, such as wine, whiskey or cocktails.

Due to their simple design, our glasses and wooden cups are suitable for every furnishing style and every living ambience, from classic to modern. Uccellino’s high-quality carafes impress through their functionality and elegance. The drinking carafes meet the criteria of practical application with many possible uses as well as of shapeliness with clear lines and timeless design. They are presented according to their function as exclusive water carafes, whiskey carafes or for other drinks. Our glass carafes also serve their original purpose: the decanting of wine. Since the bottle label is not visible, the carafe is ideal for a wine tasting, for instance. Carafes with caps, on the other hand, are excellent for keeping drinks such as sparkling water fresh for longer. Tip: Especially at high temperatures, water with a bit of lemon, lime, mint, cucumber or ginger tastes particularly refreshing. Simply add a handful of your favorite ingredient – such as a slice of lemon – to the mineral water and let the drink steep for one to three hours.

Material, colour and shape

When buying your vessels, you can choose between numerous styles. Glasses and carafes are usually available in a set in the same design. In addition to the design and material, consider the capacity and opening when making your selection. For carafes, a cap can be particularly beneficial for outdoor use and a handle especially useful for serving hot drinks.

The practical design concept of our drinking glasses with an asymmetrically ribbed part allows for an optimal grip, which makes a handle superfluous. In the colours black and white as well as silver and copper in high shine, the glasses look modern and noble and bring your drink to the table in style. You will find a matching glass carafe with an equally ribbed back. The special feature of our glass vessels lies in the interplay of functional aspects with high-contrast optics and an asymmetrical and at the same time simple format. With a capacity of almost 400 milliliters for the water glasses and a whole liter for the carafes, our drinking vessels have an ideal size.
Tip: For a balanced hydration, a daily drinking amount of one and a half to two liters is recommended, especially of water, unsweetened teas or diluted fruit juices. The wooden drinking cup is handmade from black ash and sealed with a food-safe and waterproof lacquer. Thus, the cup is uncomplicated to handle, ensures resistance to heat and cold and that any drink in the container retains its natural aroma. Cleaning and care

The most important care instruction for a uccellino drinking vessel is to rinse it by hand: both the glass products and the wooden cups are not suitable for dishwashers and should be washed by hand. Use a gentle sponge or brush and optionally a mild detergent. Due to their shape and wide opening, the carafes can also easily be cleaned by hand.
