Through the surface treatment in the old Japanese firing technique 'Yakisugi', it creates an extraordinary and charismatic living atmosphere.
These Blackwood Styles are charred with the traditional wood burning technique, whereby the top layer of wood is burned very carefully by controlled burning in with a lot of dexterity and a unique surface layer of charcoal is created.
The final treatment based on organic resin and special oil protects the wood surface.
